Battery Powered Lighting on Location. As the cinematographer for a documentary, being able to think creatively during high stress situations is key. You will be trying to find the best shot under the tightest time constraints, and you can’t be afraid to be constantly searching, constantly tweaking, to make the film better. Having a lighting kit that runs completely on batteries allows you to do some amazing setups and remote locations and lets you put lights wherever you want. This seminar will show examples of Mike’s recent work and give you an inside look at the kits he travels with. With the aid of fellow cameraman Anthony Jarvis, he will show us an example of the type of lighting they use. Mike Pecci has been a film director, photographer, & cinematographer for over 14 years. He is currently co-owner of McFarland & Pecci where he has shot and co-directed music videos, short films, and documentaries.
